Pro-Med is an Advance Life Support licensed ambulance service. This means that we are licensed and trained to support life pre-hospital with cardiac monitoring, intubation, oxygen, IV's with medication if necessary and other life saving measures if they are needed.

Pro-Med also transports patients who do not need life support. Usually these are transfers from hospital to home or nursing homes or in some instances hospital to hospital.

This is our wheelchair transport service which is by contract only. We provide wheelchair transportation to local nursing homes and the hospitals on a contractual basis. No private transports are done.

We provide standbys on a contractual basis. This service provides an ALS ambulance that is dedicated to the event with 2 EMTs. This service can be arranged by contacting our Business Office. There is a charge for this service.

We provide ambulance standby coverage at community special events. These include Career Day at the LC Walker Arena every year for local high schools, Mayfest at Muskegon Community College, ambulance demo's at area elementary schools during Fire Prevention Week, 5K and 10K run events during Memorial Day and Labor Day, Muskegon County Air Fair, annual Christian Unity Concert at Heritage Landing, several area Memorial Day parades and many other community events. This service is by request depending upon availability of personnel and ambulances; and in some cases may require a contractual agreement and charges may apply.
